On completion, the Company will either manage and operate the MRO facility by itself or the facility will be managed by a subsidiary company (SPV company mentioned earlier).
Where the Company manages the MRO facility, professionals and qualified individuals will be employed to carry out the management and operations.
For the Aviation Specialty Shops, they may be independently managed and operated. In this regard, the space will be leased out to these operators. The Company will manage the leasing of these areas and premises.
Approvals
For the MRO facility, it will initially be approved by the Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation. The plan is then to obtain EASA Part 145 and FAA approvals for Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) activities.
Thereafter, the plan is to obtain approvals from regulatory authorities in Australia, U.A.E., and countries across Asia and Africa. This will allow the MRO facility to serve aircraft from the countries where the approvals are granted.
The MRO facility will be an approved service provider for Airbus and Boeing aircraft for airframe heavy maintenance and component repair.
