Private and business jet usage and operations is a growing sector in the aviation industry worldwide, with the biggest demand in the regional market coming from the Middle East.
Currently, the Middle East market is served by aircraft based in the region or from China/Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. However, aircraft based in India will be a better source for the Middle East market, as it will be more competitive in terms of ferrying costs. Storage and parking costs in India will also be cheaper.
The Company intends to operate private and business jets from bases in India. This will allow the Company to better serve both the domestic and regional markets, including the Middle East and Central Asia.
The Company has shortlisted a few aircraft models that are suitable for the Central Asia and Middle East markets. It believes that small to mid-sized business jets with a 6 to 12 passenger capacity will be the preferred aircraft for these markets.
Africa is also identified as a target market for the Company’s private and business jet operations.
The Company intends to operate 5 private/business jets for these operations.
